Ladies Anchored in Faith

The ladies’ ministry of Lake Gaston Baptist Church exists to serve one another through fellowship, discipleship, and community outreach by embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The fellowship of LGBC women of all ages…

Spans from semi-annual events such as the Ladies’ Tea to routine gatherings both at the central church facility and in each other’s homes. After a Fall of dinner’s out and our fall retreat, the ladies’ ministry will be taking a little break for Christmas. The next ladies’ gathering will be in the new year so be on the look out for details to come!

Discipleship…

Happens in community and relationship, fostered both in missional communities as well as in Sunday Morning discipleship groups. Our ladies discipleship group is currently studying Beth Moore’s Believing God.

Community Outreach…

Includes serving our neighbors as needs arise as well as through our couponing class on Wednesday nights, where our ladies produce goodie bags of valuable coupons and other commodities for women in need in our community. Another major focus of our ladies’ heart for the nations comes through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child. The ladies are regularly collecting items for shoeboxes.
